Pre/Post Production Work

Below are the pieces of work which we have created as a group as part of a group effort. Each member of the group was assigned to a piece of task and was asked to complete it so that we could work efficiently. After this we emailed each other the tasks we completed alone and hence all have copies of the work. This part of the post production was a group task which we all worked well to complete within the short space of time we had.

Moodboard
--> For our mood board we collated images relating to Bhangra and used them to create a collage of images. The costumes which Bhangra performers wear are shown above in many of the pictures. Their costumes are bright, colourful and attractive as the Bhangra performances are joyful. The drum, also known as the Dhol, is the drum(s) that the drummers use to bring in the Indian style. This is a cultural drum and is used within all the Bhangra music tracks. When the Dhol is played it bring life into the atmosphere and makes Bhangra performances better to enjoy. The fields represent the cultural background of where Bhangra music originated. Green fields are often very colourful and a big location which many Bhangra music videos are shot in. the large field implies the freedom of movement. Finally, the images of the male artists are the two DJ’s who have composed this track.
